What is EMDR?
|
EMDR is a form of therapy that is effective for resolving emotional difficulties caused by upsetting life experiences and trauma. EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, has helped an estimated two million adults and children to cope with events such as accidents, abuse, violence, death, divorce, failures and family problems.
In Julie Martin’s practice, EMDR is an integrated, comprehensive approach and often used together with other methods such as RRT, ACT, & Emotional Freedom Technique. |
Julie’s approach to EMDR is focused on providing her clients with a nurturing environment and personalized approach that is based on each client’s needs and readiness.
